      follow the steps:
      Setting-about phone-baseband version.
but i do not recommend flash the phone if there is no problem when you use it, especially that you have never flash any phone before.
      good day!

Hi Jessica!, I bought ZP300+ field plus and now I try to root the system. I have some questions:

    1) Why SnapPea detect my phone like ZP500?

I’m folowing the steps on this video using flashTool v4.0 and MP_MT77_zp300+_root_en_play_ZWX_ICS_20120914-132600_LXL_PC

… but, when i click on Download button and plug de phone appear a window with this message:
    [COM] Failed to open COM4
[Hint] Possible reason: 1 if you use ART1 to Download DA, please make sure that you have selected the correct UART1 COM port first! 2 USB driver is abnormal, please restore them, and try again”

    2) I think it’s the reason 2, What drivers can i use? How unistall SnapPea drivers?

    Have a god day!

    • 17/10/2012 at 08:12Jessica Tang zopo

first of all, i do not know why your zp300+ show zp500 on snappea.
second, the driver will be install auto for the phone if you have connect phone to snappea.

    • 17/10/2012 at 08:20Jessica Tang zopo

      1,have you flash before?
2,and make sure before you flash the phone, you connect to PC, does snappea recognize your device? if yes, the driver should be ready.
3,have you put on the battery?
plz look carefully the video, and follow it step by step.
      good day!

      • 17/10/2012 at 15:11Oscar

Hi Jessica, thanks for you reply!

        1) Yes, I have flashed my HTC HD2 many times. I put it different Android versions with ROMS at XDA Developers and i know how to use ClockWorkMod Recovery too.
        2) Snappea show my device like ZP500 (not ZP300+ FIELD PLUS) however i can see my files and install applications and more things. I send a screenshot at support@zopomobile.com
        3) First with battery to recognize it Snappea and then turn off the phone, remove battery and windows 7 detected different drivers (I use this http://www.4shared.com/zip/YXlLFoLm/6577driver_install_3_steps.html). These drivers are correct?

I follow step by step the video but I think there is something different between the ZP900 and ZP300+ FIEL PLUS. Starting with Snappea it detects as ZP500.

Please, can you send me the links (drivers, rom) specific to my phone ZP300+ field plus

        Thanks a lot!!
        God Day

    Dear Jessica,

Finally I could flash my mobile phone after installing the right drivers and found the good manual. How ever, The required files to flash CWM found here http://www.zopomobileshop.com/en/content/9-download-zopo-mobile-latest-rom

does not include the required files shown in this videos :

the only file included is cmw-recovery, I think the files :
boot.img and the “scatter” txt file needed to flash the recovery which are different from
MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt file included in the ROM.

How can I flash the CWM without the required files ? you know CWM is important to avoid
bricking android mobiles if any thing happen in future

    • 24/10/2012 at 10:04Jessica Tang zopo

hi, how about how to flash the recovery, here is the video
      thank you

    • 27/10/2012 at 13:49Alex

Jessica….these 2 videos are the same one……where we can find the correct scatter file and this boot.img to make cwm work?? If you don’t know this try to ask to someone else more skilled but don’t leave us without response

      • 28/10/2012 at 07:50thay

Here you can find guidelines and files but remember Zopo is not responsible about issues after flashing unofficial files.Modding is at your risk

        • 28/10/2012 at 13:48Alex

Thank you for publishing my messages, i will try the guidelines, really hope to solve the issue. I understand, this is an unofficial practice, so i will do it at my own risk.

  • 25/10/2012 at 07:00SARKIS

    Thank you for reply

    I tried this :

1- Rename the file cmw-recovery to recovery
2- put the file inside the folder contains the file : MT6577_Android_Scatter_emmc
3- do the steps shown in the videos successfully
4- try to run the mobile in CWM using Vol+ and Power on

the CWM did not work, Instead of that, the old Recovery mood worked which is not CWM, Its the original recovery mood which shows a green open chest android logo with an alert above it !!!

  • 27/10/2012 at 08:01Alex

Yes, we watched the video but is not enough, we need a valid boot.img and a valid scatter file to do the trick, otherwise we can’t make cwm recovery working.
Why don’t you integrate it directly on the factory rom and in the other one in download area? CWM recovery is really important for android phone.
    Thank you

  • 30/10/2012 at 07:45sarkis

I found the drivers that worked for me :

    CMW worked fine finally

i have got a problem with my zp300+’s gps.
I turn on all option in the location services (of course my wi-fi connection is active too), then i test the gps (GPS Test), but nothing happened.
The tester is write the gps is on, but it not find satelite.

Of course i tried another app (Sygic: GPS Navigation), but it didn’t find satelite too.

I tried update the rom (MP_MT77_zp300+_root_en_play_ZWX_ICS_20120914-132600_LXL_PC.rar and the MP_MT77_zp300+_play_en_root_ZWX_ICS_20120816-191927_LXL_PC.rar too),
after the red line is 100% then the flashtool_4.0 write it:

    Can you help me?
Is the gps wrong or it just a software problem?

    Thank you for your answer.

    • 31/10/2012 at 04:34Jessica Tang zopo

hi, plz provide your device rom version:Setting-about phone-built number
and does order from zopomobileshop? because we have gps test before shipment. it should be no gps problem.
      good day.

      • 12/11/2012 at 18:22Szabi

fortunately i resolved the rom update and my gps problem too.
I installed the driver as described in pdf (without battery), than i started update the rom with flashtool4, but it not worked.
I tried again (flashtool4) but i put the battery on the phone and when win7 was install the “new device” during the flashtool4 was accept the phone.

My ZP900 back camera is not working. Whenever I started the camera app, only the front camera is enabled. No softkey on the app to switch on the back camera.

I have reflash the ROM few times, but still the same problem. Can you help?

    • 23/11/2012 at 10:53Jessica Tang zopo

        Dear Jessica,
I have a perfectly working ZP900S and I flashed the last rom as instructed in the website. The back camera doesn’t work any more.
I checked with a few other people and all have the same problem.
        It is not HW probelm.
Just the rom is wrong (ZP900S with ZP900S rom, double checked!)
Please check and gice some suggestion

      • 21/03/2013 at 12:57pix

I need a replay to my previous post on the topic, but even my post had disappeared and there seem to be more people facing the same problem.
After properly flashing zp900s with the latest rom the rear cmera is gone. Is there an error in the rom? Who and when is gonna fix it? I maintain a number of devices. Can I get in contact with somebody in the support?

hi, has u successfully installed the driver?
visit forum carefully here regarding driver
      here is the step:
      MTK6577 Driver http://www.4shared.com/zip/YXlLFoLm/657

First thing to do (if you have not already done it previously) install drivers for the device

      *** FASE1

Unzip the drivers mtk6577.zip on the desktop. You find 3 folders (I recommend using 7zip freeware for windows to unzip)
From the folder First Step run the file MTKusbDriver once the operation is complete go to the folder Second Step, click on ClickInstall Driver, click Exit and ignore the error notification that occurs Open the folder Third step and run ClickInstall Driver.exe again ignoring the error notification

Turn off phone and remove battery then connect it to the usb pc.Required drivers where installed wait a few minutes the process may take some time do not disconnect the phone until you have the notification preloader USB VCOM completed
Disconnect the phone from the usb socket and insert the battery without turning it on
Now you have the computer ready to flash the complete firmware or parts of it, a prerequisite for any operation
